KELBRYN WELSH CORGIS New Zealand

Fizz arrived in New Zealand with 11 AKC points, including both majors & Best of Breed wins, from a brief USA show career.

Bred & owned in the USA by Liisa Coit (co-bred by Lanalee Jorgensen), to whom we are so thankful for her trust in sending Fizz so far from home.

Despite coat drops and seasons, Fizz won several CC & Group wins before........

Fizz decided she wanted a family rather sooner than we planned and, with the earlier assistance of her kennel mate Harley, whelped a lovely litter on November 3, 2007.

(Heartfelt thanks to 'stand-in midwives', Marj & Alan, who arrived at a moment's notice when it became obvious Fizz was going to pick our daughter's wedding day to have her babies. We will never forget that wedding anniversary! )

Her son, KELBRYN RISKY BIZZ - Gilbey, won well in the Puppy classes, with several Baby Puppy in Show awards and even more 'class in Group' wins.

After a 7 month break from the show ring, Fizz quickly claimed her NZ Championship title in just 3 weekends out, finishing with a Best of Group (Group 1) win.

Runner Up 2008 DOG OF THE YEAR - ECLKA Point Score Competition (All Breeds).

Fizz produced her second family January 25, 2009.
Her 9 babies thrived, despite the heatwave of the time. This litter was rather overloaded with tricolours (all 7 of them) and, alas, rather lacking in baby bitches, with just one little girl.

Still 'running on' at Kelbryn is KELBRYN MAYBE MIDNITE - Riley who is getting better with age! Riley has several CC's, even more Res CC's, Best of Breed & 'class in Group' awards. Most recently, Best Intermediate in Show, Central WCL Specialty (April 2011) to go with his Best Junior in Show award won at the 2010 Central WCL Specialty.

Fizz produced her final litter in 2011 and has now officially retired to the couch-potato life she was already enjoying!

We are running on their cute daughter Harlow, who is already a multi 'class in Group & CC winner from the puppy classes, and has 2 x BEST PUPPY IN SPECIALTY SHOW wins.
